Beyond its modern golf developments (Ciudad Quesada among them), Rojales itself has one of the Valencian Community's most distinctive historic town centres, shaped by the Segura river. The Puente de Carlos III, an 18th-century three-arch stone bridge, still connects both banks. The town's hydraulic heritage -- La Leona waterwheel, a weir and irrigation channels dating from the 16th-18th centuries -- is preserved as a working monument complex, alongside the Museo de la Huerta (housed in a restored windmill) and the Rodeo cave dwellings carved into the hillside.

What's it like living in Rojales?
A genuine Spanish town centre alongside the golf urbanisations -- historic bridges, watermills, two museums and cave dwellings, rather than a purely modern resort feel.
Is Rojales worth investing in?
No independent Fotocasa price index was found for Rojales as a whole (its main urbanisation, Ciudad Quesada, is covered separately) -- the historic centre and the golf urbanisations represent distinct sub-markets within the same municipality.
